Day 1: Addis to semera Lake Assale Salt
Fly to semera then drive to dalol around 300km You will see the sun set breathtaking.Visit Lake Assale, overnight Hamdela
Day 2: Excursion
To Dallol (116 meter below sea level, one of the lowest places in the world), colorful salts mining. Salt mountain. Colorful potassium,
Follow with the Afar people from highland, the traditional way of extracting Salt bar which once used as local currency, packing on the Camel. You will see how they prepare their traditional bread, how they travel, communicate & more. It is another unique experience. You may swim in a small lake then drive to Ertael volcano. Dinner at base camp then with scout & a guide, police, walking 1:30 hrs. Then visit volcano and overnight on the top of the mountain. Erta Ale is 613 meters tall, with a lava lake one of only five in the world at the summit. It is notable for being the longest existing lava lake present since the early years of the twentieth century.
Day 3
Trek back & breakfast then drive to Afdera lake- swim at lake at salty lake then there is a small, clear waterfall to clear out the salt from your body then lunch will be served at the lake. Then drive to semera on the way you will enjoy the views of a spectacular canyon into the highlands. Overnight semera hotel.
Day 4
Fly addis & depart Ethiopia for your international flight.
