Day 01 : Addis Ababa to Lalibela

• Morning departure from Addis Ababa to Lalibela on Ethiopian Airlines (1 hours)
• Airport pickup by our excellent local guide.
• Lunch at hotel  (not included)
• See the churches of Lalibela with our local guide.
• Dinner (not included). We recommend heading to the Ben Abeba Restaurant for sunset.It’s the crazy shaped restaurant down the street from from the center. Get there before sunset (and before most tourists arrive) and enjoy the amazing views!

Day 2: Lalibela to Gonder – Goha Hotel

• Breakfast (included)
• Early morning church visit to the second cluster of churches with our local guide.
• This is a great time to see the churches as the light is beautiful and there are usually no other tourists and sometimes services going on at the churches.
• Airport transfer
• Lunchtime fight to Gonder (30 minute fight)
• Airport pickup by out guide
• Lunch (not included)
• Afernoon city tour and castle visit
• Dinner (not included)

Day 3: Gonder to Simien Mountains National Park – LimaLimo Lodge

• Breakfast (included)
• Mid-morning departure to LimaLimo Lodge by private vehicle (1.5 hour drive)
• Lunch at LimaLimo (included)
• Afernoon exploring around the lodge. Optional village visit ($10 per person)
• Dinner (included)
• Local alcohol not included

Day 4: Simien Mountains National Park – LimaLimo Lodge

• Full day at the lodge to relax and explore!
• Go for drives with some short hikes further in the park. See the dramatic views from Chennek camp site
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner included

Day 5: Simien Mountains to Bahir Dar —Hotel

• Breakfast (included)
• Depart at your leisure for Bahir Dar (about 5 hour drive)
• Settle into the hotel and enjoy the lakeside view. or wander the cobblestone streets of the city.
• Lunch (not included)

Day 6: Bahir Dar to Addis – Hotel

• Breakfast (included)
• Boat trip and monastery visit with our local guide. This is a half day trip out on the lake where you’ll visit 3 monasteries, which includes some short hikes.
• Lunch in town with our guide (not included)
• Airport transfer
• Evening fight from Bahir Dar to Addis Ababa
• Airport pickup
• Dinner (not included)

Day 7: Addis to Arba Minch – Paradise Lodge

• Breakfast (included)
• Early afternoon fight to Arba Minch
• Airport pickup by private vehicles
• Arba Minch is one of Ethiopia’s second tier cities. It’s the jump-of point for all trips to the Omo Valley
• Visit the “Crocodile Market” by boat – a place in the lake where you can see humongous crocodiles, beautiful scenery and lots of birds. There is also a chance to see hippos.

Day 8: Arba Minch to Turmi: Buksa Lodge

• Breakfast (included)
• Visit to Konso; a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a great village visit
• Visit Karo and Dasnech tribes
• Dinner (not included)

Day 9: Turmi to Jinka: Eco-Omo Lodge

• Breakfast (included)
• Visit to the Mursi Village. The Mursi are the best known of the Omo people known for their lip plates.
• Eco-Omo Lodge is a tented camp

Day 10: Jinka to Arba Minch – Paradise Lodge

• Breakfast (included)
• Visit to Dorze village
• Dinner (not included)

Day 11: Arba Minch to Addis

• Breakfast (included)
• Afernoon fight to Addis
• Departure
